Walk along the San Pellegrino Pass

For a great start to your holiday in Moena

Many easy walks start out directly from the hotel Arnika Wellness and take you to discover the San Pellegrino Pass.

  • Lake of San Pellegrino – this is the classic walk that we recommend especially for families with children. The lake is a relaxing spot where you can sunbathe on the shore and relax a little. It is very close to the Hotel Arnika: you can get there in 10 minutes walking slowly.
  • Fuciade Plain – this is also an easy walk but a little longer, along an unsurfaced road with ups and downs which takes you down to Fuciade: there are lots of alpine huts here and an ancient church, meadows and a renowned ‘rifugio’ chalet where you can have a meal.
  • ‘Baita Paradiso’ Chalet – this is an easy walk that takes you up through the meadows to the foot of the Cimo Uomo mountain. Strolling along an unsurfaced road you can be surrounded by local wildlife in less than an hour: there are cows grazing in the meadows and marmots also make their home here. It is not difficult to spot some of them… You can also have lunch at the chalet;
  • Rifugio Passo Selle – Bergvagabunden Hütte: a beautiful alpine hut that can be reached from the arrival of the Costabella chairlift in 45 minutes, passing by the grazing cows and playing to find the marmots, particularly present in that area.

The ski lifts that depart from San Pellegrino Pass make it possible for you to do lots of high-altitude excursions. You can breathe in the fresh mountain air while enjoying unique landscapes!
