Passo San Pellegrino

Discover the Passo San Pellegrino area along Val Tegna and the Costabella mountain range

Take the chairlift near the hotel to reach the alpine meadows at the foot of the Costabella mountain range. From there, continue on foot along an easy gravel path to discover the beautiful pastures stretching beneath the mountains that overlook Passo San Pellegrino. DIFFICULTY: Easy

Passo San Pellegrino

Col Margherita – Troi della Mariotta

FULL-DAY HIKE

The excursion begins with the Col Margherita cable car, reaching an altitude of 2,505 metres. From the top, you can enjoy a spectacular 360° panorama featuring the Costabella range, Marmolada, Pelmo, Civetta, Pale di San Martino, Lagorai, Latemar and Catinaccio. The view extends across the most iconic peaks of the Dolomites. The hike continues westwards along the Alta Via della Mariotta trail to reach the summit of Juribrutto (2,694 m). From there, the route follows the northern slope of Cima Juribrutto before descending to Col delle Palue (2,270 m) and returning to Passo San Pellegrino. DIFFICULTY: Moderate

Col Margherita

Malga Vallazza, Juribrutto Lakes & Passo Valles

FULL-DAY HIKE

Starting from Malga Vallazza at Passo Valles, this beautiful circular hike takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino Nature Park. The trail follows an ancient military mule track, winding through larch forests before reaching the alpine meadows crossed by the Vallazza stream, which we follow to the foot of Cima Juribrutto. From here we continue to the picturesque Juribrutto Lakes, whose beauty is in striking contrast to their unusual name. Along the way, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain ranges invite frequent stops to admire the scenery and capture unforgettable photos. This hike includes a significant uphill section and offers a wide variety of landscapes: dense forests, lush alpine pastures and rocky terrain where the panoramic views stretch as far as the eye can see. DIFFICULTY: Moderate

Passo Valles

World War I Trenches, Passo Selle & Colifon

Discover the World War I trenches and military shelters at Passo Selle and Colifon

FULL-DAY HIKE

Starting directly from our hotel, we walk to the nearby Costabella chairlift, which we use for the ascent only. From the top, we continue along a scenic trail leading to Passo Selle Mountain Hut, beautifully located between the Monzoni Valley (Val di Fassa) and Passo San Pellegrino. Throughout the hike, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Costabella massif, the Catinaccio (Rosengarten), Civetta and the surrounding Passo San Pellegrino area. Along the route, we will discover the fascinating remains of World War I trenches, offering a unique glimpse into the history of the Dolomites. The excursion continues towards Colifon, where we visit additional military shelters and trench systems. We then return comfortably to the hotel along an easy mountain road. DIFFICULTY: Moderate

Passo Selle

Passo Rolle, Monte Castellaz, Christ the Thinker & Baita Segantini

Passo Rolle – Monte Castellaz – Christ the Thinker – Baita Segantini

FULL-DAY HIKE

Starting from Passo Rolle, we follow an easy gravel road to Baita Cervino before continuing towards Monte Castellaz and the famous Christ the Thinker statue, a spectacular panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Pale di San Martino, Cimon della Pala, and the Grande and Piccolo Colbricon peaks. The hike then continues along a scenic circular route towards the iconic Baita Segantini, passing through the remains of World War I trenches and offering magnificent views of some of the most beautiful Dolomite landscapes. DIFFICULTY: Moderate

Passo Rolle

Passo San Pellegrino, Fuciade, Val Fredda & Malga ai Lach

Discover the Passo San Pellegrino area – Fuciade – Val Fredda – Malga ai Lach

FULL-DAY HIKE

Starting directly from our hotel, we walk to the picturesque hamlet of Fuciade, where we can admire its charming alpine meadows and traditional mountain huts, a reminder of the rich farming heritage and mountain life of the Dolomites. We then continue towards Val Fredda, a peaceful and less-frequented valley where it is common to spot grazing horses and marmots in their natural habitat. The hike continues to Malga ai Lach, the perfect place for a relaxing break before completing the scenic circular route back to our hotel. DIFFICULTY: Easy (to Fuciade) – Moderate (to Malga ai Lach)
ELEVATION GAIN: 250 m ascent
STROLLERS: Suitable up to Fuciade only. Beyond Fuciade, a baby carrier is required.
